Rihanna leaves NOTHING to the imagination as she picks up Fashion Icon Award at CFDAs

She was honored with the Fashion Icon Award at the annual Council of Fashion Designers of America Awards on Monday and Rihanna made sure all eyes were on her at the bash.The Diamonds singer glittered in a racy sheer embellished halter dress to show off every inch of her slim figure. 

 The naughty outfit - custom made by designer Adam Selman and comprised of a total of 216,000 Swarovski crystals  - left nothing to the imagination as Rihanna took a star turn on the carpet in her backless dress. 

She wore a matching sparkly turban, which left the emphasis on her beautiful face.

Smokey eyes and minimal make-up completed her eye-catching look.  

Rihanna, undisputed fashion star of the moment, was no doubt the big draw at the CFDA awards, which also honours the year's top designers.

The singer and pop culture star was on hand to receive the group's 2014 Fashion Icon Award and made sure that no one will forget her star turn on the carpet.

Identical style: Identical twins Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen chose almost identical outfits of long black coat dresses and sandals with clutch bags and event styled their hair similarly for the occasion.

 

Olivia Wilde looked amazing in her fringed black dress from Decades LA just six weeks after giving birth to her first child

 

Blondes do have more fun! Rachel Zoe looked elegant in a stunning custom made gown she designed herself while Brie Larson was pretty in a star print black dress. 

Lady in red: Victoria's Secret model Alessandra Ambrosio opted for a strapless red floor length Nonoo gown which showed off her flawless figure and deep tan.

 

No need to watch her weight! The former Weight Watchers spokesperson Jennifer Hudson displayed her slim figure in a racy black evening gown from Kaufmanfranco  which displayed a hint of cleavage.

A bit of all white: Actress and former model Jaime King opted for the same hue as Victoria's Secret model Karlie Kloss as both arrived in flowing white gowns with Jaime in Calvin Klein and Karlie in Band of Outsiders.

Remember what happened last time you went to a fashion event? Fresh off her attack on Jay Z at the Met Gala, Solange Knowles opted for a plunging custom made silver Calvin Klein gown.

 

Supermodels then and now: Joan Smalls wowed in a floor length dress with a thigh high slit while veteran Naomi Campbell proved that she has not lost her touch in a plunging gown.

Unusual: Marion Cotilllard attended the fashion extravaganza in an unusual white lace dress from Christian Dior with cute yellow shoes .

 

Amazonian beauty: Supermodel Heidi Klum looked amazing in her flowing peach Donna Karan  dress which showed off her tanned, toned body in all its glory.

 

 Night and day: While Olivia Palermo was dark and brooding in a fringed Ann Taylor sweater and skirt, My Girl star Anna Chlumsky was sweetness and light in a bright skirt and cropped top.

 

Colour pop: Beth Behrs, Iman and Hilary Rhoda stood out in their brightly coloured gowns on one of fashion's biggest nights.

 

Comparing style tips? Blake chatted with model Karlie Kloss and the pair seemed to be having a whale of a time as they enjoyed the evening.

Simple and elegant: Diane von Furstenberg chose a pretty patterned yellow dress which highlighted her slim figure and if her smile was anything to go by, she knew she looked good.

 

Unusual design: Former The Hills star turned designer Whitney Port was one of the guests at the CFDAs on Monday and arrived in an unusual patterned dress.

  

Proud: It was evident from her huge smile that Rihanna couldn't have been prouder with her win at the CFDAs on Monday night.

Quite an eyeful! As she made her way to the stage Rihanna flashed her pert bottom to the entire room.

 

Does she approve? Anna Wintour presented Rihanna with her prize at the CFDAs but one wonder what she thinks of the star's attire.
